Trivago Canada (Trivago.ca): Hotels for All Destinations

The famous hotel comparison website Trivago has been slower to catch on in North America compared to other parts of the world, but that doesn’t mean that Canadians can’t take advantage of the simple, money-saving functionality that this site offers. As a company with an international mindset, Trivago has country-specific sites for around 50 different countries all over the world, and Canada is one of those countries.

Trivago Canada: Trivago.ca

Canadian residents can simply go to Trivago.ca, regardless of whether they happen to be in Canada or somewhere else in the world at that moment. This is useful because the entire search and quote process will be done under the assumption that you are Canadian, so prices should be listed in Canadian dollars, and if any of the 250 discount travel sites that Trivago searches isn’t available in your country, it would be excluded from your results. So, it’s not as if anything would go horribly wrong if you used the standard Trivago.com, but using Trivago.ca makes things a little smoother for Canadians looking for the best deal on a hotel.

And the benefits aren’t limited to hotels in Canada, of course. Anyone using Trivago.ca can certainly use it to find the lowest price on a hotel in the same city or province (“stay-cations” are quite popular these days), or on the other side of the country. But if you’re finding that autumn is turning into winter far too quickly, Canadians can absolutely use Trivago.ca to search for hotel rooms in roughly 190 countries (I hear that this time of year is great for sea turtle watching in Costa Rica… merely a suggestion).

How to use Trivago.ca

Except for the fact that everything is done specifically with Canadians in mind, the Trivago.ca website and Trivago App is virtually indistinguishable from the standard site. You will simply start by typing in the city that you are interested in visiting, whether that city is Toronto or St. John, Cancun or Dubai. You’ll specify the dates that you will be checking in and out of the hotel, and you’ll get a long list of search results.

Now here’s the fun part: you can add all sorts of filters to find the perfect hotel room. For example, how many stars, whether breakfast is included in the rate, if there’s free Wi-Fi in the guest rooms, etc. And the price you’ll see for the room is the lowest price that Trivago found after scanning over 250 different travel websites.

And that’s why they say that you’ll find the perfect hotel room at the lowest price!
